Yexun Wang

Yexun Wang's work experience includes various leadership roles in research and development. Yexun started their career at SABiosciences-A QIAGEN Company in 2005 as a Postdoctoral Scientist and gradually worked their way up to Staff Scientist, Sr. Scientist, Associate Director R&D-Genomics, and Director R&D-Genomics. In 2011, they joined QIAGEN as a Sr. Director-R&D and later became the VP of Research. Currently, they are working at Foundation Medicine as the Senior Director, Head of Research and Early Development, and will soon transition into the role of VP, Head of Research and Early Development.

Yexun Wang received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Peking University in 1998. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2005, Wang pursued a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Minnesota.
