Mohamed Elsabagh

Mohamed Elsabagh's work experience begins with their current position at Quokka.io, where they hold the title of Senior Director and Co-Head of R&D. Mohamed started in January 2022 and is currently in this role.

From 2017 to 2022, Mohamed worked at Kryptowire, which is now part of Quokka. During their time there, they held various roles, including Research Director from November 2020 to January 2022, Senior Research Scientist from January 2018 to November 2020, and Research Scientist from August 2017 to December 2017.

Prior to their time at Kryptowire, Mohamed worked at George Mason University from 2011 to 2017. Mohamed served as a Research Assistant from May 2014 to July 2017 and as a Teaching Assistant from August 2011 to May 2014.

In 2013, Mohamed had an internship as a Security Software Engineering Intern at Kryptowire.

Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Nile University from October 2009 to June 2011 and as a Software Engineer at Bibliotheca Alexandrina from August 2009 to October 2009.

Mohamed also gained experience through internships. Mohamed worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Global Impact from June 2008 to September 2008 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Easy Dialog from June 2007 to February 2008.

Mohamed Elsabagh pursued their education diligently and has a strong academic background. Mohamed began their educational journey in 2004, attending Alexandria University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering in 2009. Being passionate about furthering their knowledge, Mohamed enrolled at Nile University in 2009, where they completed their Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering in 2011. Eager to delve deeper into their field, they then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science at George Mason University from 2011 to 2017. Throughout their educational endeavors, Mohamed Elsabagh has shown an unwavering commitment to their studies and has gained expertise across various domains within the technology sector.
