Frank van Es

Frank van Es has a diverse work experience in the field of 3D design and visualization. Frank started their career in 2008 as a 3D Generalist at Sto Corp., where they worked on educational and product animations.

In 2010, Frank became a Freelance Designer, providing graphic design and motion graphics services. Frank continued their freelance work till 2012.

From 2012 to 2017, Frank worked at PixelPool, where they held various roles including 3D Artist, Senior 3D Artist, and Art Director. In these positions, they developed high-quality 3D assets for retail and architectural visualization, managed and trained a team of 3D artists, and collaborated with art directors across multiple global offices.

In 2017, Frank joined Nike as a Nike NA Retail Design - 3D Designer/Visualizer, supporting the development of retail concepts and designs through 3D visualization. Frank also modeled fixtures and seasonal initiatives.

After their stint at Nike, Frank worked at Hovercraft as a freelance 3D Designer for a short period in 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, Frank returned to Nike as a 3D Designer II, before transitioning to a role at Starch Creative as the 3D Design & Visualization Lead. At Starch Creative, they led design and visualization projects until February 2023.

Most recently, Frank joined PixelPool in March 2023 as a Senior 3D Artist.

Frank van Es completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Effects at Savannah College of Art and Design from 2004 to 2008. In 2021, they participated in an Advanced Course and a Forum at Landmark. Additionally, in 2020, they completed the Compassionate Communication Intro Series.
