Maria currently works at Naavik as a Podcaster and Podcast Host, where they explore the future of gaming through interviews and roundtable discussions. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Director at Pixion Games, helping to oversee the development and launch of new products. Maria also served as an Advisor at Scrypted Inc, offering guidance and expertise to the company.

In their previous roles, Maria worked at Hutch as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for managing a mobile card game and leading various features and design improvements. Maria also held the position of Product Manager at Jagex, focusing on the publishing platform and delivering several products related to accounts, ecommerce, and web.

Before transitioning to the gaming industry, Maria worked at Recordsure as a Business Analyst, specializing in AI voice analytics products for financial services. Maria also held managerial positions at Aubay, leading business development efforts in the UK and Portugal and managing technology consultancy teams.

Prior to entering the technology field, Maria worked in the fish trading industry, serving as a Business, LC & Export Manager at CANPOR Trading and holding roles in financial management and sales at Largispot - Produtos Alimentares, SA.

Maria G. started their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Graphic and Multimedia Design from the Polytechnic of Leiria, which they completed between 2011 and 2014. Maria then pursued further academic qualifications by enrolling in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, specializing in Business Strategy, at FEUC - Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra from 2014 to 2016. Maria G. recently completed a 10-week course focused on Product Management at General Assembly in 2019.
