Michael Arango has a wealth of work experience in the soccer and technology industries. Michael began their career in 2000 as a Web Developer II for Siemens Digital Industries Software. In 2004, they became an Instructor and Head Coach for the Illinois Youth Soccer Association. In 2006, they were appointed as an Olympic Development Program Regional Staff Coach for US Youth Soccer. Michael then joined Campton United Soccer Club in 2012 as the Director of Coaching and FC United Soccer Club, Inc. in 2010 as the Head Coach. In 2014, they became the Director of Coaching for Wilmette Wings Soccer Club. In 2017, they were appointed as the Director of High School Boys for the Chicago Fire Juniors. Since 2015, they have also been an Adjunct Professor, Head Coach, and Women's Soccer Assistant Coach for Concordia University Chicago. In 2021, they were elected to Staff Council by peers throughout the university and was named Conference Coach of the Year. Most recently, in 2022, Michael Arango joined Pixis as the Program Manager for Performance, Insights & Ads, Americas.
Michael Arango completed their Bachelor of Education (BEd) at Northeastern Illinois University from 2007 to 2010 with a field of study in Elementary Education and Teaching. In 2016, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Concordia University Chicago. In the same year, they also completed an International Studies program with the United States Soccer Federation, focusing on Player Development in Belgium, Anderlecht, Club Brugge, and Ajax FC. In 2012, they also completed an International Studies program with the United States Soccer Federation, focusing on Project Management.
