Michael Lazerow

Michael Lazerow began their career in 1999 as the CEO and Founder of GOLF.com and GolfServ, negotiating and executing the sale of the company to Time Warner's Time Inc. division. In 2007, they joined Salesforce as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of the marketing software division, helping the company grow its annual revenue run rate to $6 billion from $2 billion. In 2010, they founded Lazerow Ventures as an investor. In 2017, they became a Director of shape matrix, a system that uses geometric shapes to generate serialized identifiers for physical and digital objects. In 2020, they joined CTD.ai as a Board Observer. In 2021, they became a Board Observer at Autograph, a Director at SuperRare Labs, and a Director at Mercato. Finally, in 2022, they became a Director at Pixel Vault. Currently, they are a Cofounder and Managing Partner at Velvet Sea Ventures, a multi-stage venture capital firm.

Michael Lazerow received a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University in 1996, after beginning their studies in 1992. Michael then went on to receive an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University in 1996.
