Flore Gimello

Flore Gimello is a Director in the Consumer Retail group. She joined PJ SOLOMON in 2015.

Prior to joining PJ SOLOMON, Ms. Gimello worked in the global investment banking group of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Capital Markets, serving first in the media and technology group before moving into the consumer and retail industries. Additionally, while an Analyst there, she served in the equity capital markets group.

Ms. Gimello has advised Blackberry on its strategic review resulting in a recapitalization by existing shareholders, Public Mobile on its acquisition by Telus, Peer 1 Networks on its acquisition by Cogeco Cable, and Titan Outdoors Canada on its acquisition by Clairvest. On the equity capital markets side, assignments have included advising Canadian Tire on its spinoff of real estate assets into Canadian Tire REIT, Barrick Gold on its $2.9 billion common equity raise in 2013, Fortis on its $1.8 billion offering of installment receipts in 2014 and Hudson’s Bay Company on its $275 million subscription receipts offering to finance its acquisition of Saks Incorporated.
