Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative solutions, currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010. In this role, Chris is involved in the design of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous experience includes firmware development for similar technologies at SMART Technologies, electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, and teaching assistance at the University of Calgary. Earlier in career, Chris contributed to the development of control systems for the forestry industry at Grindcom. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
