Bea Derks

Bea Derks has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bea began their career as a Polismedewerker at ONVZ, where they were responsible for processing and approving medical applications for the health insurer. Bea also worked as a Declaratie medewerker, handling paramedic claims, and as a Consultant gezondheidszorg, assisting with special healthcare requests.

Bea then transitioned into the field of sports, becoming a Professioneel hockeyspeler at Atlètic Terrassa HC, playing in the top division in Spain. During this time, they also served as a Fysiotherapeut at KNHB, providing physiotherapy services.

Following their sports career, Bea returned to the healthcare sector, taking on roles such as Medior Fysiotherapeut at Sport Medisch Centrum Amsterdam and Fysiotherapeut at THC Hurley. In these positions, they provided physical therapy services to patients.

Bea also worked as a Solution consultant (medior) at Tenzinger, where they specialized in providing solutions for the healthcare industry.

Currently, Bea is working as a Client Success Consultant at Plek. In this role, they are responsible for implementing Plek's platform for new clients, addressing customer inquiries, and contributing to the future development of their product.

Throughout their career, Bea has gained experience in client consultation, healthcare administration, physical therapy, and sports.

Bea Derks has a Bachelor's degree in Fysiotherapie/Fysiotherapeut, which they obtained from Thim Internationale Hogeschool voor Fysiotherapie from 2009 to 2014. In 2017-2018, they pursued a Specialization in Handtherapie at The Hand Academy. In 2020-2021, Bea completed a course in Medisch diagnostische echografie at NTE. Bea also completed a course in Medisch/ shockwave at NTe in 2021. More recently, Bea has been studying at Growth Tribe, specializing in Business Analytics since 2022, and they also completed a course in UX design from the same institution in 2022.
