Art Gillespie is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering leadership and product development, particularly within the autonomous vehicle and digital transformation sectors. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Odyssey since November 2023, Gillespie previously held senior engineering management roles at Cruise, focusing on autonomous vehicle remote platforms and route planning. Prior experiences include leading the development of advanced teleoperations solutions at Voyage, as well as significant contributions at Udacity where Art expanded the engineering team during rapid startup growth. Gillespie also held engineering leadership positions at Google and Nest Labs, overseeing app development for innovative consumer electronics. Educational background includes degrees from Belmont University and Murray State University.
