Omid Rokni

Omid Rokni is a seasoned data scientist with a strong background in applied statistics and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Placer.ai since January 2022, Omid previously held positions at Windward, where experience included roles as Data Scientist and Lead Data Analyst R&D from September 2013 to January 2022. At Windward, Omid specialized in spatial algorithms, behavioral and movement risk modeling, and machine learning explainability, while also facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing across data science teams. Omid holds a Master of Science in Applied Statistics & Data Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, both from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
