Andy Shenton

Andy Shenton has over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, employer branding, HR data, and HR systems. Andy is currently the Head of Recruitment at Places for People, the UK's leading social enterprise. In this role, they are responsible for building and acquiring homes and places in the right locations, supporting education, health, wellbeing, employment, and inclusion. Prior to this, Andy served as the Head of People Change & Data at Places for People, where they led the transformation and restructuring of 6 individual landlords and 2500 colleagues into one Affordable Housing business. Andy also provided interim HR director coverage during the Covid-19 lockdown and restriction period. Before joining Places for People, Andy worked as an HR Change Project Manager at Plus Zinc Ltd and as an HR Change and Transformation Specialist at RBS. Andy'sresponsibilities at RBS included leading reintegration restructures, organization design, recruitment, training, and engagement. Andy has also held various positions at Royal Bank of Scotland England & Wales / NatWest Scotland, Direct Line Group, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, RBS Group, and Dixon Stores Group.

Andy Shenton attended Aylesford School from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained C.S.Es in Graphic Communication. In 1996, they enrolled at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and completed their B.Sc (Hons) in Business Management in 1999.
