Marcus Hulme is an experienced leader in social impact and philanthropy, currently serving as Chair and Board Member for Friends of Origin Housing, where the organization supports customers and the local community. Since December 2020, Marcus has been a Board Member of The Ferry Project, an enterprise focused on providing accommodation and support for homeless individuals. Additionally, Marcus contributes to Allia Ltd as a Board Member, supporting social businesses through various initiatives. In the role of Director of Places Impact at Places for People, responsibilities include leading social impact strategy across a group of 20 companies. Previous roles include serving as an Investment Panel Member for Key Fund Investments and as an Advisory Committee Member for the Impact Management Programme at Access Foundation. Marcus has held trustee positions with Relate and developed social impact strategies at Big Society Capital, as well as leading the Impact Readiness Fund for the Cabinet Office. Education includes a BA Hons in Social Policy from the University of Sussex.
