Adel Awad

Adel Awad has a comprehensive work experience in information technology management. ADEL is currently serving as the Head of MENAI Information Technology at pladis Global since August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of MENA Information Technology at pladis Global from October 2020 to August 2022. ADEL has also worked as the IS Lead Africa from June 2019 to October 2020 and as the IS Lead North Africa from January 2017 to June 2019 at pladis Global. Before joining pladis Global, Adel Awad worked as the IT/IS Manager at Hifood For Advanced Food Industry from January 2011 to May 2016 and as the IT Manager from January 2008 to December 2011. ADEL started their career as a Business System Analyst at El Wataneya from March 2006 to December 2007. Adel Awad also served as the Co Founder at Intelligent Brain System (IBS) from September 2005 to July 2007 and as the System Development Lead at The Egyptian German Company For Water Meter Manufacturing (Metrotec Egypt) from February 2005 to March 2006.

Adel Awad received a Master's degree in Computer Science from Cairo University, completing their studies between 2000 and 2005.
