David Shaw

David Shaw has extensive experience in engineering and maintenance management, currently serving as the Area Engineering, Compliance Projects, and Energy Manager at pladis Global since January 2017. Previously, David held various managerial and engineering roles at United Biscuits from 1978 to the present, including Site Services & Maintenance Manager, Night Shift Engineering Manager, and Engineering Planner, where responsibilities included developing SAP PM maintenance strategies and managing resources. David also served as Engineering Team Lead and Engineering Compliance & Project Manager at Pladis from 2014 to 2016, with earlier experience as a Maintenance Engineer at United Biscuits. Educational background includes studies at Stow College and Glasgow College of Technology, along with attendance at Eastbank Academy from 1972 to 1978.
