Plains Art Museum
Kyla Hoisington has worked as a Development Coordinator at Plains Art Museum, Annual Fund Coordinator at University of South Dakota Foundation, and as an Office Assistant at Bemidji State University Foundation. Kyla also served as a Call Center Supervisor at Bemidji State University Foundation. Kyla Hoisington has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science with an emphasis in Pre-Law and a minor in Social Studies from Bemidji State University. Kyla is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership at the University of South Dakota.
Plains Art Museum
Plains Art Museum, a nonprofit, regional fine arts museum in Fargo, N.D., is accredited by the American Association of Museums and offers approximately 12 special exhibitions along with smaller exhibitions each year featuring area and national artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The main museum has galleries on three floors, with a breath-taking open atrium at the center. Also within the museum is Hannaher’s Inc. Print Studio, and The Store, a gift shop filled with unique and artful finds, and The Blue Goose Cafe, offering an array of tasty lunches. Additional galleries are located within the Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity, a multipurpose arts facility attached to the museum via a skybridge. The Center for Creativity provides art classes and studios, and houses the region’s premier ceramics facilities.
