Shannon Gacke is a skilled professional in donor engagement and program development, currently serving as a Senior Donor Engagement Specialist at TechnoServe since September 2018, where previous roles included Senior Program Development Associate and Program Development Associate. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at Conservation International, providing analytical support for environmentally-focused initiatives, and working as an Organic Farm Support Worker with the Federation of WWOOF Organisations in Tanzania, where efforts included grant writing and community engagement in sustainable practices. Shannon has also held research and development roles with Amazon Conservation Association, TECHO, and Youth For Understanding USA. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs and Economics from The George Washington University, along with ongoing studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
