Hammad Virk

Hammad Virk, P.Eng., PMP, currently serves as the Manager of Asset Integrity at Plains All American, having held the position since October 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing pipeline integrity evaluations and ensuring compliance with regulations. Prior to this, Hammad spent eight years at Plains Midstream Canada, progressing from Pipeline Field Integrity Engineer to Pipeline Integrity Engineer, focusing on stress analysis and field integrity activities. Hammad's earlier experience includes working at Stantec as a Junior Integrity Specialist, developing Pipeline Integrity Management Systems and conducting in-line inspections, along with positions as an Engineer-in-Training and Trainee Engineer. Hammad holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore.
