Ernie McGee

Ernie McGee has served as President of Denton at PlainsCapital Bank since October 2020. Prior to this role, McGee was the Market President at Independent Bank Group, Inc. from December 2018 to April 2020, and the City President at BBVA from October 1999 to November 2018. McGee's banking career began at NationsBank as a Commercial Relationship Manager, followed by various positions including Loan Review Officer at Bank Corporation of Georgia and Vice President roles in Portfolio Management and Commercial Banking. McGee holds a BA in Accounting from Georgia College & State University, an MBA in Finance from Mercer University - Stetson School of Business and Economics, and a BS in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
