Alex Cooper currently serves as the Associate Director [Lead] of Donor Experience at Plan International Canada, overseeing four portfolios within a matrix-management framework and leading a team of six. Previously, Alex held varied roles in donor loyalty and marketing at Scene+ and Heart and Stroke, achieving significant fundraising milestones and optimizing donor acquisition and retention programs. An experienced collaborator, Alex has established partnerships with multiple key agencies and was involved in a pioneering behavioral insights trial with the Government of Canada's Privy Council Office. Alex’s commitment to philanthropy is further demonstrated through volunteer leadership roles and contributions to various charitable organizations, including the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, where over $40 million was raised for research.
