Joe Deets

Joe Deets is currently serving as the Mayor and Councilmember at the City of Bainbridge Island since January 2018. With a background in promoting renewable energy development and financial securities regulation, Joe has held various roles such as Solar Energy Consultant at Sunergy Systems and Executive Director at Community Energy Solutions. Joe's experience also includes analyzing the feasibility of clean technology projects, such as the Kitsap Sustainable Energy & Economic Development Project. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Montana, a Master of Arts in Environment & Community from Antioch University Seattle, and a Master of Business Administration from Seattle University.
