Geoffrey Smeeth

Geoffrey Smeeth is an experienced electrical design professional currently serving as Design Manager and previously as Design Engineer at Plan Group Inc. Since November 2021, Geoffrey has contributed significantly to electrical pursuits. Prior roles include Project Engineer and Electrical Designer at Morrison Hershfield from July 2014 to November 2021, with earlier positions as Junior Electrical Designer at Smith and Andersen and Camera Development Co-op Associate at BlackBerry. Notable projects include designing substantial portions of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre and assisting in a medium-sized data centre upgrade. Geoffrey's technical background also encompasses software development roles at Shaw Communications and Babcock & Wilcox Canada, along with database administration at the Independent Electricity System Operator. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2014.
