Christian Bolz has a diverse range of work experience, primarily as a founder and CEO of various companies. In 2008, they worked as a freelance consultant at cb consulting. In 2017, Christian co-founded and served as the CEO of coara.co, a company building studio that offers software development, ideation, design, UX, and product creation services. Christian then founded and became the CEO of Coara Group in 2017, a company focused on building and developing business ideas.
Most recently, Christian co-founded Plan M8 in 2021, where they serve as the chairman. Plan M8 aims to make planned maintenance for yachts easier and more efficient for marine engineers, captains, and owner/operators. The platform focuses on improving reliability, saving time, and creating transparency.

Plan M8
Plan M8 is your "plan mate" the buddy who helps planning your boat maintenance. The name is a hint to our Kiwi roots. The software was initially thought up in 2020 out of need to organise scheduled maintenance tasks on the boats where our founder worked as Chief Engineer. Over the course of his career he had used different yachtmaintenance programs, but they were either hard to use, or not focusing on his job as an engineer or not really customised for his vessel. He felt the need for an improvement. He brought this idea up with his neighbour who had founded various SaaS companies and supported founders with his coara incubator. - A new project was born.
