David Salorio

David Salorio has a diverse work experience. David began their career as a Welder at American Design and Manufacturing, Inc in 2013. David then moved on to become a Quantitative Analyst at Milliman in 2014. In 2017, they became a Senior Analyst and Analyst at the Chicago Transit Authority, where they led analytics for the Bus Maintenance and Operations departments and created metrics and visualizations for monitoring transit system performance. In 2019, they became a Data Science Teaching Assistant at Metis, and in 2020, they became a Data Scientist at Comcast. Currently, they are a Director of Research & Analytics and Operations Research Analyst at Planalytics, and a Part-time Data Science Instructor at Metis.

David Salorio holds a BA Honors in Economics and English Literature from Swarthmore College, which they completed in 2012. In 2019, they earned a Certificate in Data Science from Metis.
