Marco Totaro

Marco Totaro has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Marco began their career as a Business Group Controller at SR Technics in 1999. Marco then joined Microsoft in 2001, where they held various finance roles, including Business Controller and Segment Finance Lead. Marco went on to work at Appway AG as the COO, CFO, and later as the CFO & Head of Internal Services. Marco also served as the Chief Business Officer and PMI Lead at FNZ Group. Marco was a Member of the Board of Directors at Wirz & Partners Management Consulting AG before becoming the Chief Executive Officer of planck Security in 2023.

Marco Totaro earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business from the University of South Australia in 2004-2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Economics from the University of applied science between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, Marco has completed several certifications, including "Generative AI for Business Leaders" and "Understanding Intellectual Property" from LinkedIn in 2024. Marco also completed the "Disruptive Strategy Program Certification" from Harvard Business School Online in 2022. In 2017 and 2018, they acquired certifications in various topics, such as sales management, growth strategies, storytelling, and statistics fundamentals, from LinkedIn and Lynda.com.
