John Wicker

John Wicker has over 18 years of professional experience in the aviation industry. John began their career in 2003 as a UPT Student and Maintenance Officer with the USAF. In 2008, they moved to the United States Department of Defense as a C-17A Pilot, Flight/CC, Wing Flight Safety Officer, and Aircraft Commander. In 2012, they joined the United States Air Force as a 558 FTS Asst. Director of Operations, PIT Instructor, and Deputy Functional Commander, Aircraft Maintenance Management, T-6 Instructor Pilot. In 2019, they began working with the US Air Force Reserve as a 72nd ARS Pilot. In 2020, they joined PlaneEnglish as a Business Development Specialist and in 2021, they began working with American Airlines as a First Officer.

John Wicker earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance (A&P) from Purdue University between 1998 and 2003. John then went on to pursue a Master of Aeronautical Science (MAS) in Space Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they completed in 2011.
