Sanjay Singh

Sanjay Singh has a strong background in information technology and database management. Sanjay started their career at M/S AIIT as a Software Engineer, where they led a team in China and successfully completed multiple projects. Sanjay then moved on to Al Hasam Group as an IT Engineer before joining Universal Energy as the Manager of Information Technology and Web/Database. During their time at Universal Energy, they led technology integration efforts during M&A activities and reduced IT operations and licensing costs. After that, they joined Woodbine Entertainment as a Senior Technology Analyst, where they led the design and delivery of an enterprise data warehouse solution. Sanjay then joined Direct Energy as the Lead of Business Intelligence and Database Administration, where they guided the transition to a virtual and Azure cloud infrastructure and oversaw a data center consolidation. Currently, Sanjay is working at Planet Energy as the Vice President of Information Technology and Corporate Vice President of the Data Platform, where they led the successful migration of the company's legacy database and technology infrastructure to the cloud and now oversees a team of nearly 50 technology professionals. Sanjay is responsible for directing IT strategy, operations, vendor relations, and projects related to applications, infrastructure, IT services, and disruptive technologies.
