Kelsey Jordahl

Principal Engineer, Core Imagery at Planet Labs

Kelsey Jordahl is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and academia. Currently serving as Principal Engineer, Core Imagery at Planet since November 2015, Kelsey has held multiple leadership roles including Director and Engineering Manager of the Data Pipeline. Prior to Planet, Kelsey was a Scientific Software Developer at Enthought, contributing to high-performance applications across various sectors and chairing the SciPy 2015 conference. Kelsey's academic career includes positions as Assistant Professor of Physics at Marymount Manhattan College and Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, alongside significant research experience at MBARI and the European Institute for Marine Studies. Kelsey holds a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Physics from Eckerd College.
