Meric Ozturk

Meric Ozturk is an experienced software leader currently serving as the Head of Software at Red Leader since October 2022. Previously, Meric held roles as Senior Manager of Embedded Systems at Bigfoot Biomedical and Lead Engineer for Embedded Software at Kernel, where responsibilities included managing technical direction and the full software lifecycle for various products under IEC 62304 design controls. Meric's extensive background in firmware and embedded systems development includes significant contributions at NOVO Engineering and Hospira, focusing on medical devices and real-time embedded frameworks. Meric's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and an Independent Study in Wireless Embedded Systems from UC San Diego.
