Philip von Drechsel

Philip von Drechsel has a diverse work experience, starting in 2009 with high school summer internships at Cynobia, where they worked on backend operations and marketing strategy consultation. Philip then interned at Sal. Oppenheim as part of their institutional asset management team in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an investment analyst intern at Deutsche Bank. In 2014, they were a consulting analyst intern at Quadriga Capital. Philip then joined the Micro Finance Project in 2015 as a project manager. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Rocket Internet SE, where they held multiple roles, including business development manager, head of business development and operations at everjobs, and a VC and growth investment associate position. In 2017, they also worked at Global Founders Capital as a VC and growth investment associate. In 2017, Philip became the head of Germany at Planet N Group of Companies, a high-tech and social impact investment firm. Philip founded their own company, Lobelia Labs, in 2018, where they currently serve as the founder and CEO.

Philip von Drechsel attended Schloß Neubeuern from 2006 to 2010, where they received their Mittlere Reife qualification. From 2010 to 2011, they attended Sherborne International College and obtained their GCSE qualification in IGCSE. Philip then attended Hurtwood House from 2011 to 2013, where they completed their A levels with a focus on Business Studies. Philip continued their education at King's College London from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a specialization in Business/Managerial Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Philip von Drechsel also obtained certifications in Financial Planning with Excel from Management Circle AG in April 2014 and Microsoft Excel Basics from AS Computertraining in April 2014.
