Alessandro Bonora

Alessandro Bonora has a diverse work experience in the field of digital media and design. Alessandro is currently serving as the Service Delivery Director at Planet Sport since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kurtosys from 2018 to 2022 as the Director of Professional Services. From 2016 to 2022, they held the position of Head of Web Design at Kurtosys Systems. Before that, Alessandro worked as the Head of Digital Design at HoneyKome from 2014 to 2016. In 2013, they worked as the Creative Director at the Save Our Seas Foundation, where they established a media strategy and team. Alessandro also has experience as a Creative Lead/Art Director at bigFIG Digital Media and as an Art Director at Africa Geographic magazine.

Alessandro Bonora has a Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University, which they obtained in 1999. During this time, they focused on majors in Graphic Design and Feature Writing. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Cape Town between 1996 and 1998, focusing on majors in Philosophy and English. In 1990, Alessandro received their South African Senior Certificate from Westerford High School. Alessandro also holds additional certifications in User Experience for the Web from Open2Study, obtained in 2016, and Mobile Web Development from Udacity, obtained in 2009. In 2010, they pursued Advanced Actionscript 3 from SwitchOnTraining, specializing in Flash and Actionscript 3.
