Mark Holmes has a diverse work experience in the field of publishing and content creation. Mark started their career at Sky in 2006 as a Writer and Sub-Editor for TEAMtalk.com, where they were responsible for sub-editing copy and conducting interviews. Mark then became the Features Editor, overseeing the website's social media and writing a popular weekly column. In 2015, Mark joined Planet Sport as an Editor for Planet Football and later took on the role of Deputy Editor for TEAMtalk.com, where they managed a team and produced features. Mark subsequently became the Head of Branded Content, leading campaigns and working with partner brands. Mark'smost recent role is as the Head of Creative for Planet Sport, where they focus on audio/video, games, engagement, and branded content across various channels and platforms.

Mark Holmes attended Liverpool John Moores University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Journalism.
