Sandeep Maharaj

Sandeep Maharaj is currently the Chief Executive Officer (Caribbean) at the Global Sepsis Alliance, overseeing initiatives to raise awareness and reduce sepsis deaths in the Caribbean. Sandeep also holds the position of Global Outreach Fellow Emeritus at the Planetary Health Alliance and serves as a co-author for The Lancet Countdown Small Island Developing States. At the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, Sandeep is the Director of EBTO, a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Administration, and has previously served as Director of the School of Pharmacy. Sandeep's extensive experience includes roles such as Chairperson of The University School and membership in various health committees, alongside a solid educational foundation featuring a Doctor of Business Administration and multiple degrees in Pharmacy and Business Administration from the University of the West Indies.
