May Thant Sin

May Thant Sin has over 15 years of work experience. May started their career in 2006 as a Production Engineer at Thanlyin Glass Factory, where they were responsible for monitoring the electrical breakdown and checking the electrical control of the whole factory, and supporting the service team. May also led a mechanic team of six skilled workers, and worked as a sketcher for the modified mechanical drawing of factory machines. In 2011, they joined Proximity Designs as a Product Designer, where they were responsible for making design modifications, creating customized injection mold designs, and participating in the prototyping process of production jigs and fixtures. In 2015, they moved to Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited, where they worked as a Procurement Specialist and Project Engineer. In 2018, they began working with Yokogawa as a Sales and Service Engineer, responsible for existing customers in the Oil & Gas field in Myanmar. In 2020, they became a Quality Assurance Manager at Osotspa Public Company Limited, where they were responsible for monitoring QA/QC work and procedures in the ongoing glass factory project. In 2021, they started working as a Financial Service Advisor for AIA Myanmar, where they provided financial management advice to customers and built strong relationships with them. Finally, in 2022, they became a Software QA Engineer at Planhat and a Solar Installation (Team Leader) at NECSolar, where they supervised and led a team of electrical experts, solar skilled workers, and a solar framing team.

May Thant Sin received a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from the University of Technology, Yangon, Myanmar in 2006, where they studied Electronics and Communications Engineering. May then went on to complete a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from the Asian Institute of Technology in 2014, specializing in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. Additionally, they have been certified in English for Commerce Level II from LCCI International Qualifications.
