Niamh Gorry has held a variety of roles in their career, beginning in 2010 as an Associate in the Scientific and Technical Translation Department at Don State Technical University. In 2011, they were a blogger for BBC Russia, and in 2012 they were a Business Development and Regional Analysis Fellow at the Embassy of Ireland in Singapore. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Corporate Implementations Analyst at Deutsche Bank, followed by a Senior Customer Advisor at Box from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they were an EMEA Customer Education Manager and Customer Success Manager at Asana, and since 2020 they have been a Community Manager at Slack. Most recently, they were appointed as an Enablement Manager at Planhat in 2022.

Niamh Gorry has a strong educational background, having obtained a MA Russian and French from the University of Glasgow between 2006 and 2010. Niamh also completed a semester of Russian language and translation at the Smolny Institute St. Petersburg State University in 2009 and 2010. In 2012, they earned an MBS Business from the University College Cork and an MBS Business - acc. by UCC from the Nanyang Technological University, with a focus on Leadership and Organisational Behavior, Accounting, and Marketing. In addition to their formal education, Gorry has obtained certifications from Coursera, Scrum Alliance, and AIIM International.
