Ari Hietanen

Ari Hietanen is an experienced researcher and manager with a strong background in theoretical and computational physics. Since August 2015, Hietanen has contributed to Planmeca Oy as a Research Manager specializing in algorithms and previously served as a 3D Imaging Specialist. Prior to this role, Hietanen worked at CP3-Origins at SDU from August 2011 to July 2015 as a Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on high energy physics and developing the HiRep simulation program. Additional positions include Research Officer at Swansea University, Research Associate at Florida International University, and a co-founder of Katelabs Oy, where software architecture and camera image quality testing were key responsibilities. Hietanen holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Helsinki, where academic pursuits began with a Master's degree in the same field.
