Marissa D.

Marissa D. is a registered nurse with extensive experience in healthcare, currently working at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC, Inc. since July 2023. Prior roles include Clinical Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Mary's Center from September 2018 to June 2023, and Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU at Children's National Health System from December 2017 to August 2018. Marissa has also contributed as a Birth Companion at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and as a Research Assistant at The Center for Child and Community Health Research. Earlier in their career, experiences include serving as a Health Educator at the William Sansum Diabetes Center, a Program Specialist at Jodi House Brain Injury Support Center, and various positions at Mary's Center, UCSB Recreation Center, and San Marcos High School.
