Aleia Mays, MSW, MPH has held various roles throughout their career. Aleia started in 2014 as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine Urban Health Program. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Health Community Partners Team Intern at Communities in Schools of Chicago. In 2016, they became a Housing Stability Community Case Manager at Wesley Housing Development Corporation, a position they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Youth Development Program Coordinator at FLORENCE CRITTENTON SERVICES OF GREATER WASHINGTON. Currently, they are employed as the Manager of Education at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC, Inc. since 2021 and has recently been promoted to Associate Director of Education.
