Destiny Rosario has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Destiny started their career in 2013 as an Educational Internet Marketer at Career Connect Live, where they handled high volume inbound and outbound calls to generate inquiries from qualified applicants looking to further their education or gain employment. From 2014 to 2015, Destiny worked as a Care Coordinator at Project Hospitality, where they assisted clients with their individual recovery goals and provided administrative support. In 2015, they joined G.-M.A.C.C. Inc., a nonprofit organization, as an Administrative Assistant to the Program Coordinator, where they provided excellent administrative support and established an online contact and email database system. Destiny then moved on to become a Program Coordinator & Executive Board Secretary at G.-M.A.C.C. Inc., where they submitted programmatic and financial reports and drafted proposals and grant applications. In 2017, Destiny joined the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and held various roles including Finance & Administrative Manager/Corporate Travel Manager, where they managed day-to-day operations of the Finance department and led projects to improve department functionality and efficiency. Destiny also served as the Senior Travel and Procurement Specialist in the Office of Compliance and Procurement. Destiny actively participated in volunteer roles at Planned Parenthood, including serving as the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council ERG Chair and the Fuerza Latina Employee Resource Group President. Destiny also held the role of Treasurer in the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group.
Destiny Rosario's education history begins in 2012 when they enrolled at the City University of New York-College of Staten Island. Destiny pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Health Science, which they completed in 2015. Following this, Destiny continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science & Legal Studies with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2017. Their academic journey continued, and in 2020, they earned a Master's of Science degree in Strategic Business Management from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
In addition to their formal education, Destiny has acquired several certifications. Destiny obtained their AMA Certified Professional in Management™ credential from the American Management Association in September 2020. Destiny also completed the Certified Professional in Management (AMA-CPM) Credential and Certified Professional in Management Exam Prep Course in June and September 2020, respectively. Destiny has taken various courses related to management, including Project Management, Developing Your Analytical Skills: How to Research and Present Information, Process Management: Applying Process Mapping to Analyze and Improve Your Operation, and Purchasing Management.
Destiny has sought additional training and certifications beyond business management. Destiny completed Sexual Harassment Awareness & Prevention Training by OperationsInc in March 2019. In 2017, they participated in an Introduction to Not-for-Profit Accounting program offered by KPMG Corporate Finance LLC. Destiny has also undergone training in areas such as Media Communications, Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), Trauma and Resiliency, Counseling and Skills Coaching, First Aid CPR AED, and Certified Nursing Assistant.
