Diana N. Contreras MD MPH is Chief Health Care Officer (CHO) at PPFA. Diana is a board certified OB/GYN with fellowship training in Gyn Oncology and an accomplished health care provider with years of experience providing patient care. She has worked at several large health systems and has held administrative roles serving as a Division Director, Vice Chairman, Chairman and System wide (multiple hospitals) Medical Director for Women's Health. Diana is committed to the highest quality and safety in patient care. She has worked collaboratively with others on the local, regional, and state level promoting access and equity related to health care.

Diana focuses much of her time with affiliate executive leadership, including chief executive officers and their medical directors as well as with public health thought leaders. As the CHO, she is responsible for increasing Planned Parenthood’s health care delivery effectiveness and capacity by capitalizing on Planned Parenthood’s role as the leader in SRH and health equity. Diana oversees the teams under the Health Care Division responsible for Medical Services, Standards and Guidelines, Consortium of Abortion Providers (CAPS), Health Care Operations, Patient Experience, Quality Care, and Health Equity.

Diana holds a Masters of Public Health in Health Care Administration and Policy from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and undergraduate degree in History, Latin American Studies, and Women Studies from Princeton University.
