Holly Nunn

Holly Nunn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Holly began their career as a Freelance Reporter for Patch.com in 2011, before moving on to work as a State Government Reporter for The Gazette. In this role, they covered the Maryland General Assembly and executive agencies, writing breaking news stories for the web and enterprise stories for the weekly newspaper. Holly then transitioned to become the Laurel Reporter for The Gazette, where they covered Prince George's County Public Schools and the city governments of Laurel, College Park, and Greenbelt, writing breaking news for the web and community-centered features for the newspaper.

In 2013, Holly joined the Office of Governor Martin O'Malley as a Senior Writer. Holly worked in this role for a year before moving to Teach For All in 2014, where they served as the Director of CEO Communications. At Teach For All, Holly was responsible for overseeing CEO communications.

Holly's most recent position was with Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where they held two roles. Holly started as the Speechwriter to the President in June 2015 before being promoted to the Director of Editorial Services and Strategy in November 2016. Their tenure at Planned Parenthood is ongoing.

Building upon their academic achievements, they then enrolled at the University of Maryland in 2010 to pursue a Master of Journalism degree with a specialization in Public Affairs Reporting. Holly finished their studies at the University of Maryland in 2011.
