Shawanda Gray has a diverse work experience history. Shawanda started in 2010 as a Student Coordinator at The Lighthouse Foundation, where they focused on helping kids improve their reading and writing skills while also teaching them important life skills. In 2014, they became an Educator and Track & Field Coach at McComb School District, where they dedicated herself to providing quality education and coaching to students. In 2016, Shawanda volunteered at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In 2017, they joined PlanNet Marketing as a Network Marketing Representative, promoting and selling travel agent opportunities. In 2018, they founded Forever Purposed. Most recently, in 2019, Shawanda joined PGSD as an Educator and Sports Medicine & Athletic Training Instructor, inspiring students to explore careers in athletic training and health science.

Shawanda Gray's education history begins in 2002 when they graduated from Pass Christian High School with a high school diploma in General Studies. Following this, they attended Hinds Community College from 2006 to 2008 and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Nutrition. In 2008, they enrolled in Mississippi State University and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science between 2008 and 2013. Most recently, Shawanda has pursued higher education at the University of Texas at Tyler, where they are currently studying for a Master of Science (MS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, a program that began in 2017.
