Kevin Thompson began their career in 2006 as a Senior Web Developer for Search Engine Optimization, Inc., where they consulted clients and prospects on provided services and solutions, produced semantic, accessible, search engine friendly markup, and developed and maintained editorial platforms tailored to produce optimized markup. In 2007, they moved to Conveyor Group as a Senior Web Developer, where they produced standards compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript from provided designs, developed and maintained Conveyor Group's custom content management system, and extended client content management systems with requested functionality. In 2009, they were a Senior Web Developer for LendingTree, where they spearheaded the development of LendingTree's health-centered editorial website, HealthTree.com, while maintaining and enhancing LendingTree's expansive network of websites and blogs. In 2011, they became the Director of Engineering for AppStack, Inc., where they led a team of engineers in building a suite of tools that help small businesses effortlessly acquire mobile customers, making use of a wide range of emergent technologies including Ruby on Rails, MongoDB and Backbone.js. Kevin also architected and implemented core platform technologies. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Senior Developer for Planning Center, where they extended and maintained a suite of Ruby applications catering to millions of users, managed an apprenticeship program for Ruby and JavaScript developers, and supported the customer service team by quickly addressing user issues.
Kevin Thompson attended MiraCosta College from 2003 to 2006, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Internet and Multimedia Technologies.
