Jörg Winkler

Jörg Winkler has worked at Plansee - Strong Metals since 2006. Jörg started as a Project Manager and eventually became the Head of Development. In this role, they managed product development, innovation projects, and resources. Jörg also promoted the flexibilization of the innovation organization and introduced updated innovation and project management tools and processes. The main products and services of the Business Division Electronics include Thermal Management Solutions for Power Electronics and Components & Spare Parts for Semiconductor Front-End Equipment. Prior to their time at Plansee, Jörg worked at VDMA as a Project Manager from 2001 to 2006.

Jörg Winkler pursued their education in a chronological order. Jörg completed their Abitur at St. Lioba Gymnasium in Bad Nauheim, Germany, from 1984 to 1993. Jörg then enrolled at Goethe University Frankfurt and obtained a Diploma in Chemistry in 1998. Continuing their studies at the same university, Jörg Winkler completed their PhD in Chemistry from 1998 to 2001.
