Wolfgang Schafbauer

Wolfgang Schafbauer has extensive experience in production and technology management within the field of powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing. Since March 2012, Wolfgang has held various leadership roles at Plansee, including Manager of the Production Line in Powder Metallurgy, Head of Additive and Joining Technologies, Head of the Application Centre, and Head of Development for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells. Prior to this, Wolfgang worked at Forschungszentrum Jülich from September 2006 to February 2012, where roles included Post-Doc and Doktorand. Wolfgang earned a Diplom in Material Science and Technology from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, completing the degree in 2006.
