Eric Hutchinson

Eric Hutchinson currently serves as the Cybersecurity Operations Manager at Plante Moran, overseeing the Security Operations Center (SOC), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Cloud Security since August 2022. Prior to this, Eric held the position of Cybersecurity Manager at Travelers from May 2015 to August 2022, where responsibilities included 24/7 monitoring of cyber threats, development of playbooks and automation in Splunk Phantom, and management of cyber incidents. Eric's earlier experience includes working as an IT Security Monitoring Analyst at United Technologies, where leadership capabilities were demonstrated through the supervision of analysts and maintenance of security documentation, and as a Graduate Assistant at the University of New Haven, focusing on cyber-terrorism research. Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Trinity College-Hartford and a Master’s Degree in National Security and Public Safety from the University of New Haven.
