Colin Sheredy

Colin Sheredy is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and renewable energy sectors. As the Lead Engineer at Planted Solar since July 2022, Colin is responsible for overseeing engineering projects. Previously, at SpaceX, Colin held multiple roles from Test Engineer to Manager of Composites Testing over six years, contributing to innovative aerospace solutions. Colin's career began at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where significant contributions included performing fatigue analysis on aircraft components and developing a Python tool that resulted in over $2 million in cost savings. Early experience included an internship at Boeing Defense, Space & Security focused on structural health monitoring of the International Space Station and a teaching assistant role at UCSD Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from UC San Diego.
