Johan Granerus has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Johan started their career in 1997 as a Project Manager at Tradewell AB. From there, they worked at Pemel Security AB as the CEO and Regional Manager, responsible for sales, budgeting, and managing contracts and suppliers. Johan then joined Confidence Intelligent Access AB as a Key Account Manager and was also in charge of the Gothenburg office. Johan later worked at Retail Response AB as a Key Account Manager, overseeing concept sales and managing contracts and suppliers. Johan then became a Security Consultant and Security Purchase Consultant at Granesca AB, working on security, project management, and procurement. Johan was also a Project Manager at Jeff Electronics, involved in supervisory control systems for climate control. Currently, Johan holds the positions of Business Area Manager and Sales Manager for System Products at PlantVision AB, where they are responsible for sales, business development, marketing, events, and managing partners and staff. Their expertise lies in industrial IT/IS and digitalization of production.

Johan Granerus began their education at Hovåsskolan, where they studied for a period of two years from 1987 to 1989. After completing their studies there, they moved on to Hvitfeldska Gymnasiet from 1989 to 1993, focusing on the field of Ekonomi. Following this, they attended Johnson & Wales University from 1993 to 1995, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing.
