Sree Ram Arunan

Sree Ram Arunan has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Sree Ram has been working at Planys Technologies since 2016, starting as a Manufacturing and Design Intern. During this internship, they focused on designing and manufacturing new RoV prototypes, as well as testing them in real-time marine environments. Sree Ram also played a crucial role in streamlining maintenance and inventory processes. Sree Ram then progressed to the role of Mechanical Integration Engineer in April 2017, before becoming a Mechanical Design Engineer in April 2018. Sree Ram continued to grow within the company and eventually held the position of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer from April 2019 until August 2021. Currently, they serve as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Planys Technologies.

Prior to working at Planys Technologies, Sree Ram Arunan had a student internship at Ashok Leyland in 2014. During this time, they worked on the project "Diesel Engine Design and Efficient Usage of Engine Fasteners." Sree Ram conducted an analysis on the commonization of fasteners in engine design to improve efficiency in design, assembly, and the supply chain. Sree Ram gained hands-on experience in engine operation, assembling, and dismantling during their internship.

Sree Ram Arunan began their education journey in 2012, when they enrolled at Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology, and Research Academy. Sree Ram pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering and successfully completed their studies in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Sree Ram Arunan obtained a Nutrition & Wellness Consultant Certification in June 2022. This certification was granted by the International Society for Medical Food and Nutrition (ISMN).
