Julie Cozzie

Julie Cozzie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and environmental science. Currently serving as a Senior Curriculum Developer and Integration Specialist at Plasma Games since November 2021, Julie develops standards-aligned curriculum and engaging resources for chemistry and physical science. Julie also teaches acro at Cc&Co Dance Complex since 2010 and has previously taught eighth grade science in the Wake County Public School System from January 2015 to April 2022. Julie's foundation in education includes K-8 experiences, with prior roles as a student teacher at Fred A. Olds Elementary School and lead preschool teacher at Bayleaf Baptist Church. Julie's scientific expertise was honed as a Senior Scientist at ABB and Parsons Corporation, focusing on human health risk assessments and environmental compliance. Julie holds multiple degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in public health and environmental science, as well as a master's degree in elementary education from Liberty University.
